About Me.
Hello, my name is Jordan Teegardin. I'm a C5-C6 Quadriplegic who was injured in a motorcycle accident in 2012. I served as an infantryman sergeant in the army for five years, and I was deployed to Iraq in 2010.
Now, I reside in South Carolina and receive benefits from the army and Michigan's no-fault insurance. I started this blog to help people who feel like they are alone.

If you're living with a disability, you know that it can be challenging. That's why I created Handicap Help; a blog dedicated to offering support and assistance to those in need. Whether you're looking for advice on how to deal with mobility issues, resources in your community, or just a place to connect with others who understand what you're going through, Handicap Help is here for you.
In addition to sharing my personal experiences and insights, Handicap Help will feature guest posts from experts in the field of disability support, as well as interviews with individuals who have overcome incredible obstacles. I will provide information on accessibility options, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology that can significantly enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Moreover, I will address topics such as mental health, relationships, and pursuing personal goals despite the challenges we face.

Handicap Help will serve as a platform for open discussions, where readers can share their stories, ask questions, and receive encouragement from a community that understands and empathizes. Together, we can navigate the complexities of living with a disability and find strength in our shared experiences.
